Varoujan, an amazing career

....Varoujan's work has been admired around the world. It has been enjoyed by everyone from residents of the North End who see his 4 story mural on Causeway Street, the congregation of St. Vartanantz Church who can enjoy his 46 murals... to world leaders like Mikhail Gorbachev.

Varoujan's story is a remarkable one. When you admire his art you see life, love, passion, colors, beauty and happiness.

So one might postulate that Daniel has lived a happy serene trouble-free life.

One would never guess that this Syrian born boy was from a family that left Turkey to Aleppo during the genocide, as a little boy he recalls hearing the tragic stories of the family members who were exterminated.
One would never know that this PhD candidate came to America from Soviet Union without a single painting. At age 30 all his work had been confiscated making it necessary for him to start all over in a new country with a new language and no credentials to show for his amazing career.
